Supervises the development and delivery of technical training based on needs with local employers and general industry.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

Associate's degree or combination of training, education and experience that equates to the required degree.
Five years of work related experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in related training discipline.
Seven years of work related experience in related field.
Experience delivering instruction and training sessions.
Experience in Electrical or Mechanical Technology preferred and familiar with basic electronics tools (DMM, power suppliers, oscilloscopes).
Knowledge of fluid power, motor controls, PLCs.
Two years of work experience conducting training can be substituted for a degree on a year-for-year basis PLUS a certificate indicating formalized training in one of the training discipline areas or experience demonstrating proficiency equivalent to a pertinent certificate.
Certificate must be equivalent to 1 year of classroom and/or on-the-job training.

Licenses and Certifications:

Valid Texas driver license and ability to be insured by the organization’s insurers.
