From the classroom to career, Alamo on the Job Interns are matched offsite with top-rated businesses within the Greater San Antonio Area and will receive paid on-the-job training to succeed in their chosen field of study. The duration of an internship can last up to 9 months, and the interns are able to work up to 20 hours per week. 

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 17 years or older.
• Students must be actively enrolled at one of the five Alamo Colleges
• Interns must be eligible to work in the U.S.

The Alamo Colleges District is requiring prospective Interns to submit an initial application through the Student Employment Career site on Alamo Talent. 

1. Complete the application by using your  Alamo Colleges student email address.
2. Select ONLY one application below that pertains to your home campus under Search Jobs.
3. Submit a resume with your application.
4. A recruiter will contact you for intake information and you will be matched with an internship. 
5. Once internship placement has been confirmed, the Alamo on the Job interns will need to complete the next steps in the hiring process.

As an Alamo on the Job Intern you can expect to gain hands on career experience with job shadowing, assisting, and contributing to a team project, career training to increase skill set, an assigned mentor, and networking opportunities.  At the end of the Alamo on the Job Internship, students are ready to conquer the workforce.
